It amazes me at every individual color we acquire here on earth… My great grandmother Horton used to say “God painted them special for you and me.”
We had a blast running through corn mazes skimming the games and gazing at the sunflowers! I love kids around this age because they can tune in and celebrate the holidays along with everyone else.
It goes with out saying that this world is full of technology and is bursting with more and more as we speak. I myself am a victim of this arthritis causing eye blinding beautiful world and try to sometimes break free of the urge to jump on Facebook even though I know nothing has happened in the last five minutes.
Yesterday I decided to drive to Kennesaw Mountain and have a little stroll. The history behind the mountain blows me away with every spot you visit! This certain point is what i call the Vortex, its a huge open spot that contains five trees that make a complete circle. Catch it at the right time and you will see the most majestic orange glow through the trees that rests right above the wheat grass. Did you know that at some point a part of Kennesaw Mt. was a conservation for people who lost everything during The Great Depression and helped stabilize young men in their future lives?
Its nice to know that places like this still exist to show us what was, and to let us know just how peaceful it once was with out facebook, gaming, and ever lasting tweets the world sends out to each other. If ever you need a quiet place a peaceful to get your mind together i highly recommend this place.
After months and months of calling her baby and any other name that came to mind we finally (He) decided on :
Scrappy Sue Hellams
She started off very small, round and walked slightly sideways and I’ll admit she did “scrap” quite a bit of stuff up when she was younger, my heels being one of them. They say they normally destroy your most valuable possessions because they can sense that you love it just as much hence your smell being all over it because it just so happens to be your favorite. She has been one of the best things that has ever happen to me just because she is someone i don’t mind being around which also means ill never be alone.
“Most dogs would take off just at the sound of the door hoping they could smell a bit freedom, no… not scrappy she once tried to eat the house just to get back in.”
She’s slowly as i say, sliding into to 6 years old in which is the same anniversary as when i received her. The best Christmas present i must say I’ve ever had in my life (sorry mom and dad.)
Her most favorite thing in the entire world in a tennis ball, as in any dog i would say… but as YOU can see this is her intent on every ball, stuffed animal, tennis or cotton stringed anything that comes her way.
She rips it…. and tares it to pieces leaving behind a lovely mess for me to clean up… so the result of that is she usually gets them on my good days…
As most of you can already see and hence from the pictures above she is a Pitbull a “rednose” Pitbull to be exact. She came to my family right at 8 weeks as a rescue. It doesn’t bother me more then society judging these poor animals just because of the way society has treated them “self-inflicted.”
I’ve never seen any other dog put their paw around you and bring you in for a hug at the end of the day like she does.
“lap dogs” is what they should be labeled as its what the are….
